Continia Web Approval Portal is a web service integrated with Business Central. Via the Web Approval Portal, all relevant employees can approve expenses and documents, even if they do not have direct access to Business Central. Employees simply need to have access to a web browser.
Employees can access the portal, no matter where they are. Employees have access to all expenses and documents awaiting approval through the Web Approval Portal via PC, tablet, or smartphone.
All document types can be added
You can add attachments such as photos, Excel sheets, or emails at any time during the approval process. All attachments via the Web Approval Portal are available to other Business Central users. The attachments are easy to find – even if the invoice or expense is already posted in Business Central.
No installation required
The Contina Web Approval Portal can be used without additional installation, provided that the portal runs on the Continia Online Service hosted by Microsoft Azure.
Approvals in the Web Approval Portal always take place in real time. As a result, you will always have an updated overview of the expenses and documents that are awaiting approval.
Two solutions in the same web portal
With the portal solution, you get access to approval of supplier invoices, sales orders, expenses, and mileage statements via a single system. The Continia Web Approval Portal requires only a single license from Business Central to also process documents from Continia Document Capture and Continia Expense Management.
When you log in to the Web Approval Portal, you have access to documents that are awaiting approval in both Continia Document Capture and Continia Expense Management
The only thing you need to be aware of is, that when an employee logs in to the Web Approval Portal to make approvals, the employee will take out a Business Central license.
