Balancing bank accounts
With Continia Statement Intelligence for Business Central, you get functions for loading digital account statements from the bank.
You can easily balance your bank accounts with Continia Payment Management. All you need are the banks account statements in digital form.
The account statement is loaded into Continia Payment Management, which finds the corresponding bank records. If no similar items exist, the solution will suggest other options.
In addition, counter-entries are automatically created if the bank records are not available. This applies, for example, to payments, interest, and fees.
Balancing debtor payments
When the account statements for a specific period are loaded in Business Central, Continia Payment Management has already closed and recorded the items.
Continia Statement Intelligence finds all debtor payments. This applies whether it is account transfers or another format, including payments from abroad.
Continia Statement Intelligence then creates these items on the payment document.
Continia Statement Intelligence can also recognize fixed, regular services such as bank charges. If there are any unresolved entries after the balance or errors in the message text, these entries can automatically be transferred to a journal where you can make posting suggestions yourself.
Managing currency differences
With Continia Statement Intelligence, you can also easily handle different currencies efficiently. When you record an invoice in a foreign currency, it is registered in the local currency at the given daily rate. When the invoice amount is transferred to the bank with Continia Payment Management, it will be according to the exchange rate on the day of the transfer.

You can send the payment to the bank with Continia Payment Management, and the corresponding account statement from the bank is loaded into Continia Statement Intelligence, which finds the corresponding bank registrations in Business Central.
Continia Statement Intelligence detects differences in the price amount from the recorded price to the price paid. The solution will automatically suggest the creation of entry lines in the journal to record these exchange rate differences on a price difference account.
