The world is currently paralyzed. COVID-19 has turned our lives upside down. Many use the time to reflect on the future. A future where the situation has come under control and where normalcy returns.

But how do you secure your business for the future, so that you can handle a similar situation again? For the life that awaits us, will probably look different. How do you invest in the future?

The present must be digital

There is no doubt that the companies that perform well now and, as a result, will perform well in the future, are those that are digitally equipped. Companies that have invested in IT. Companies that right now can offer their employees a home-based workplace and / or have implemented e-commerce. For many companies, the current situation means that everything is turned upside down. There is a need for a colossal change for corporate cultures, for example in relation to working from home and having work and customer meetings in other ways than face-to-face.

At MicroPartner, we have also had to adjust our habits. For example, we have just held our first training day remote. Fortunately, our customers were also involved in thinking new and breaking habits. The technique in Microsoft Teams as well as readiness for change both with ourselves and our customer resulted in the session working beyond all expectations.

The time of opportunity

With most challenges comes opportunities as well. As a result, the current situation is an obvious opportunity to examine your company and invest in IT solutions and systems.

We are currently experiencing that some of our customers are investing in the future, for example by moving their systems to the cloud, implementing new processes / features in CRM and ERP systems, and remote training in the use of CRM / ERP.
